There is no price list here, because no two trees are the same. In the owner's words, the price depends on the size of the tree, its location and the type of tree. To see the work itself, the list of tree services has a page for each job.

Why is every job priced in person?

A photo can't show how a limb hangs over the roof, how close a trunk sits to a wall, or what is underneath the branches that have to come down. Standing at the tree shows all of it, so that is where the quote comes from.

Quotes are never given from a photo. Call or text (626) 493-7629, say what the trees need, and set a time for them to come out and look.

What is in the quote?

You get a detailed quote that lists the work and the total cost. If you say yes, Empire Tree Care writes up a service agreement with the work, the price and the date, and you both sign it before the job.

The price you are quoted is the price you pay. It does not change once the work starts, and you can read what each job includes before the visit.

What should you tell them when you call?

Have a few things ready when you call or text, standing where you can see the whole tree. It makes the visit faster, because they know what they are coming to look at. Three things are worth covering:

  • The whole tree in view, from the base up to the top, not only the one branch that worries you.
  • The house, the fence or the lines near it, so the tree is described in its real spot.
  • Anything you are unsure is on the list of things they do not do, such as a job in the rain.

How do you pay?

You can pay by Zelle, by check, in cash, or with a credit or debit card. You pay after the work is done and you have walked the yard together.

If you have a question about paying, ask it at the estimate, on the same visit where you hear the quote for your trees.
