Empire Tree Care removes trees that have already come down, from Arcadia out across the San Gabriel Valley. A fallen tree job starts after the fall. The trunk is lying in your yard or across your drive, and nobody has to debate whether it should go, because that was settled when it dropped. What is left is the clearing and the price. Call or text (626) 493-7629 and tell them what you are looking at.

Whether you found it this morning or a neighbor pointed it out, the cause of the fall does not change who you call. A tree that is still standing and unwanted is tree removal. A tree a storm put on the ground can also fit storm damage tree removal. A few branches off a standing tree is tree limb removal. A whole tree on the ground belongs on this page.

Before you phone, take a look at the tree where it lies. Notice whether it is across your drive or clear in the open, and whether it touches the house or a fence. Notice whether the roots came out of the ground or the trunk snapped and left a stump standing. Those are the details to give on the call. A photo is not needed, since quotes do not come from one.

What counts as a fallen tree removal job?

A fallen tree removal job is any job where the whole tree is already on the ground and you want it gone. Standing trees are a different starting point. Here gravity did the first part of the work before anyone called. What you are asking for is the tree gone from where it landed.

The tree may have split at the trunk or tipped over roots and all. Both count, and so does a tree that came down in one piece. A tree that is still up does not, even one leaning hard, and a tree like that is a question for dangerous tree removal. A pile of broken branches under a tree that still stands belongs on the limb page. Say whether the tree came down on your side of a fence or across it. If you are unsure which one you have, describe the scene on the phone and ask.

When can you get someone out to a fallen tree?

The day starts at 6 AM and ends at 9 PM, Monday to Saturday. Sunday is closed, and no visit is promised for it. Same day is sometimes possible for a down tree and never promised, so ask when you call.

A job runs in a set order. You call, and a day and hour are set for the estimate. They show up and get the job done, and a walk-through with you follows. After that comes the invoice, and that is the end of it. You get a text when they are on the way. If you would rather write, the email is empiretreecarecorp@gmail.com.

Clean, safe work is guaranteed, and any damage to your property gets fixed as soon as possible.

Will a fallen tree get removed in the rain?

No. Rain keeps them off the job, and that includes a tree that came down in the same weather. The single carve-out is a call in an emergency, when branches have landed on a house or on a car and need removing. It stops at branches. If that is your situation, say so in the first sentence of the call.

Any other tree on the ground is a regular job, and a regular job is not done in the rain. Say plainly what has fallen and where it lies. For storm calls, the emergency tree service page shows where that kind of call sits among the other jobs.

How much does fallen tree removal cost?

The lowest a fallen tree job comes in at is $500. The price starts with a call or text and is settled at the estimate visit, never from a photo. Once you have the number, it stays the number after the work begins.

People most often ask whether it can be done today and whether it can be done cheaper. Payment goes by cash, credit or debit card, Zelle or check. One client had only half of the payment when the job finished. The owner made another contract and allowed the rest to be paid when the client was able.

For how quotes work on other jobs, Arcadia's page on what tree work costs has the general picture.

What is left after a fallen tree is gone?

A tree that snapped can leave a stump standing. A tree that tipped over can leave a mass of roots and a hole where it stood. Neither one is the fallen trunk itself, so the stump or the root mass is worth naming when you describe the job.

Tree stump removal and tree stump grinding each have a page, and so does tree root removal. Read them if the base of the tree is still in the way. Stump removal takes the stump out, and grinding works it down. Root removal is a separate question again. A tree that tipped can also lift a section of lawn or paving with its roots, so say what the roots pulled up. Mention what is left in the ground when you call, so it is part of the conversation from the start.

Can you get a fallen tree removed outside Arcadia?

Yes. Empire Tree Care is based in Arcadia and works across the whole San Gabriel Valley, up to 45 miles out. Pasadena, Glendale, Monrovia and West Covina have their own pages, and the towns with their own page are listed in full. If your town is not among the twenty, you may still be inside the 45 miles.

The owner has worked around Pasadena and La Crescenta, and near BMO Stadium. Give your street and town when you call, and say how the tree is lying. They speak Spanish, so the description of the tree can be in Spanish or English, whichever is easier.
